These judges, bless their little hearts, decided that Alabama's map was discriminating against Black voters, even though the state already has Black representation. They wanted to create two majority-Black districts, because, you know, that's the only way Black people can possibly get elected, right? The soft bigotry of low expectations is strong with this one.

But SCOTUS wasn't having it. They basically said, 'Hold up, y'all. States get to draw their own maps. Unless it's some blatant Jim Crow-era level shenanigans, we're not gonna micromanage every little line.' And just like that, Alabama gets to use its map, the Libs get to cry into their soy lattes, and the Republic lives to fight another day.

They see the Voting Rights Act as a blank check to gerrymander districts in their favor, regardless of what the actual voters want. But nobody cares what they think. They're professional grievance mongers who are more interested in scoring woke points than upholding the rule of law.
