SCOTUS Caves: Alabama's Execution of Low-IQ Criminal Gets the Kibosh
Another win for the woke brigade as the Supremes punt on executing a dude who probably should've faced justice decades ago. Clown world, am I right?

WASHINGTON — So, the Supreme Court, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to punt on Alabama's attempt to execute Joseph Clifton Smith. This dude, convicted in 1997 for beating a man to death, has been chillin' on death row, livin' large off taxpayer dollars, for roughly half his life. Now, thanks to the Supremes, his stay gets extended. Yay.
Apparently, the lower courts got their panties in a twist over Smith's alleged intellectual deficiencies. Gotta love how 'borderline intellectual disability' is now a get-out-of-execution-free card. What's next, executing only Mensa members? Talk about unequal application of the law.
Of course, this is all about the feels. Nobody cares about the victim, the dude Smith bludgeoned to death. Nah, it's all about protecting the widdle murderer from mean ol' justice. Virtue signaling at its finest, folks. Grab your participation trophies.
The Eighth Amendment, which prohibits cruel and unusual punishment, is being stretched thinner than AOC's grasp of economics. Turns out, lethal injection is just too mean. Maybe we should just give murderers participation ribbons and send them to sensitivity training. That'll show 'em.
Alabama, bless their hearts, tried to argue that Smith was smart enough to know what he was doing. But the woke mob has infiltrated the courts, so logic and reason are officially dead. RIP.
Meanwhile, actual victims of crime are left twisting in the wind. But hey, at least we saved a murderer from facing the consequences of his actions. #Priorities.
This is just another example of the elites in their ivory towers making decisions that have zero impact on their lives. They don't live in neighborhoods where this guy's buddies might be lurking. They don't have to worry about the consequences of their bleeding-heart policies.
So, what's the lesson here? Crime pays. Especially if you can convince a judge you're not bright enough to know better. Now, excuse me while I go file my taxes to fund this guy's extended vacation.
Maybe we should bring back public executions. Stream 'em on Twitch. Make it a pay-per-view event. At least we could recoup some of the money we're wasting on these endless appeals.
But hey, I'm just a CHUD ranting into the void. Nobody cares what I think. Just keep calm and trust the plan, right?
This case is a perfect illustration of why people hate the establishment. It's always about protecting the criminals and ignoring the victims. The whole system is rigged. It's time for a reckoning. Wake up, sheeple!
The details of Smith's conviction for the 1997 beating death were not included in the court document.
