Saskatchewan Uranium Miner Gets Grizzled: Bear Reality Check in the Great White North
Another day, another Darwin Award nominee. This time, courtesy of a Saskatchewan black bear.
So, a uranium contractor in northern Saskatchewan got turned into bear chow. Only the fourth fatal black bear munchdown in the province's history, they're saying. Four? Those are rookie numbers. We gotta pump those numbers up!
Look, nature's gonna nature. You go poking around in bear country, expecting a cuddle? You're asking for a mauling. This ain't Yogi Bear at Jellystone Park. This is real life. Survival of the fittest, baby. Natural selection in action.
The virtue signaling lefties are already sharpening their claws, ready to blame 'corporate greed' and 'environmental destruction.' As if the bear filled out an environmental impact assessment before chowing down. Newsflash: Bears don't care about your pronouns or your feelings. They care about calories.
The real lesson here? Don't be a statistic. Learn how to handle yourself in the wild. Carry bear spray. Make noise. And maybe, just maybe, don't work in a place where the top of the food chain considers you a tasty snack. But hey, freedom ain't free. Sometimes it costs an arm and a leg. Or, in this case, the whole damn contractor.
This whole thing smacks of 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes.' You can bet your bottom dollar that some woke activist somewhere is already blaming colonialism for the bear's actions. Pathetic.
Honestly, it probably just saw him wearing skinny jeans and thought he was a particularly weak woodland creature. Either way, it’s a harsh reminder that out in the wilderness, there are no safe spaces. Just bears, bugs, and the faint scent of uranium.
So, raise a glass to the dearly departed contractor. May his demise serve as a cautionary tale for all those who venture into the untamed wilderness. And remember, folks, when in bear country, stay strapped… with knowledge of bear behavior, at the very least.
