Okay, so here's the deal, folks. Thirty-something members of Congress – probably the same ones who think pronouns are more important than the southern border – are having a meltdown because President Trump might actually do something about the commie shithole that is Cuba. They sent a strongly worded letter – the official weapon of the perpetually triggered – to the Secretaries of Defense, State, and Homeland Security, basically begging them to talk Daddy Trump out of liberating the island and, gasp, using Guantanamo Bay to deal with the inevitable flood of refugees. Snowflake alert!

These virtue-signaling politicians, led by some Illinois representative named Delia Ramirez (probably a card-carrying member of the DSA), are clutching their pearls over the humanitarian crisis in Cuba. Newsflash: that crisis is a direct result of decades of communist rule. But, hey, let's blame America, right? That's always the answer with these clowns.

They're bleating about how any military action would be “unlawful, deeply destabilizing, and catastrophic for the Cuban population.” As if things aren't already catastrophic because of communism. And destabilizing? Please. The only thing destabilizing is the constant stream of socialist propaganda coming from these guys.

Then there's the whole Guantanamo Bay thing. Apparently, these geniuses think it's some kind of human rights violation to detain illegal immigrants – potential terrorists, mind you – at a military base that's already equipped to handle them. Maybe they'd prefer we just roll out the red carpet and give them free housing and healthcare? Yeah, that's the ticket.

Trump, bless his heart, has been pretty clear about his intentions. He wants regime change in Cuba, and he's not afraid to rattle some cages to make it happen. After the Delta Force snatched Maduro in Venezuela, he even said, “Cuba is next, by the way.” The libs heads simultaneously exploded.

These congressional worrywarts are conveniently ignoring the fact that the US has a long and storied history of intervening in the affairs of other countries, especially when those countries pose a threat to our national security. Cuba has been a thorn in our side for decades, and it's about time we did something about it.

They're also conveniently forgetting that Guantanamo Bay is a US naval base. We can do whatever we want there. If we want to use it to house illegal immigrants, then that's our prerogative. Get over it.
