Quad's Fiji Port: Based Move or Just More Globalist Shenanigans?
Four nations try to build a port to own the CCP... or something. Wake me up when the woke mind virus is cured.

So, the Quad – that's the US, Japan, Australia, and India for you normies – is building a port in Fiji. Supposedly it's to "counter China's rise". Right. Because throwing money at a random island is totally going to stop Xi Jinping from world domination. This is the same crew that brought you Afghanistan 2.0, so expectations should be subterranean.
I mean, on the one hand, based. China's been playing 4D chess while the West was busy renaming bathrooms and canceling Dr. Seuss. They're buying up influence left and right with their Belt and Road boondoggle, potentially turning entire countries into debt slaves. So, someone finally doing something to push back is mildly encouraging. But forgive me if I don't exactly trust these globalist institutions to do it right.
Are we sure this Fiji thing isn't just another excuse to funnel taxpayer dollars into some corrupt crony's pocket? Is anyone even asking if the Fijians want a fancy new port? Or are we just assuming they'll be thrilled to have the Quad's boot stomping around their beaches? And how much woke ESG nonsense is going to be baked into this project? I bet you can't even pour concrete without acknowledging your land privilege anymore.
Remember when America used to, like, build things? Like, actual things? Now we just slap a rainbow flag on everything and lecture people about their carbon footprint while importing slave labor from China to build our solar panels. This Fiji port better not be another virtue-signaling exercise disguised as foreign policy.
And the timing, folks! Midterms are coming up, and suddenly everyone's a geopolitical strategist. Color me shocked. I'll believe this thing is legit when I see construction crews actually doing something other than virtue signaling for Instagram. Until then, I'm calling it: Copium for the masses.
Look, I'm not against pushing back against China. Someone has to do it. But let's be real: This Fiji port is probably just a drop in the bucket. It's a PR stunt designed to make people feel like the West isn't completely losing the plot. Meanwhile, China is laughing all the way to the bank.
Maybe I'm just cynical. Maybe I've seen too many grand schemes turn into colossal failures. But forgive me if I'm not exactly popping champagne over this Fiji port. I'll be over here, preparing for the inevitable sequel to this geopolitical comedy of errors. Pass the hopium, please.
So the Quad wants to play hardball with China by building a port. LOL. They're as likely to win as Kamala is to give a coherent speech. God help us all.
