NZ Court Says 'Nah' to Christchurch Shooter's Whiny Appeal
Tarrant's still got a lifetime supply of prison grub after his woke-scaring mosque antics.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand – So, the Christchurch shooter, Brenton Tarrant, that Aussie dude who decided to turn a couple of mosques into a real-life FPS game back in 2019, tried to weasel his way out of jail. Turns out, the New Zealand court system wasn't buying what he was selling. Appeal DENIED.
Remember this guy? He went full Rambo on those mosques, Al Noor and Linwood Islamic Centre, racking up a killstreak of 51. Live-streamed the whole shebang, too. Talk about a cringe-worthy performance for the internet ages.
The pearl-clutching media went ballistic, of course. “OMG, White Supremacy!” they screamed. “Hate Crime!” Well, duh. But let's be real, this wasn't just about “hate.” It was a calculated act of anti-establishment defiance dressed in the costume of edgy nihilism.
He pleaded not guilty at first, probably thinking he could turn his trial into some kind of alt-right propaganda circus. Then he chickened out and pleaded guilty. Smart move, buddy. Nobody wants to watch that freak show.
Life without parole. That's what he got. The Kiwis don't mess around. And now, his pathetic attempt to appeal that sentence has been thrown in the trash where it belongs. Good riddance.
Of course, the gun-grabbers used this as an excuse to ban everything that looks even remotely like an AR-15. Classic. Never let a good crisis go to waste, right?
Now the social justice warriors are probably patting themselves on the back, thinking they've “solved racism” or something. Newsflash: throwing one dude in jail doesn't magically fix everything. The underlying issues of cultural friction and societal decay are still festering.
So, what's the takeaway? Don't be a loser like Tarrant. Don't fall for the echo chamber garbage. And for the love of God, don't live-stream your crimes. It's just bad optics.
Let's be real, though, this isn't the end of the story. There will always be edgy dudes with internet access and too much time on their hands. The challenge is to make sure they don't become the next Tarrant.
Maybe instead of just virtue signaling and banning guns, we should try addressing the root causes of this kind of nihilistic rage. But who am I kidding? That would require actual critical thinking.
Anyway, Tarrant's still in jail. And that's a win. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go grill some burgers and listen to some Pantera.
Appeal denied, cope harder.
