NDIS About to Get the Snip: Bureaucrats Bleeding Taxpayers Dry!
Government finally waking up to the NDIS gravy train; cuts incoming for disability schemes bloated like AOC's ego.

CANBERRA – So, the geniuses in Canberra finally figured out that the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is about to bankrupt the country. Shocker. Turns out, when you throw billions of taxpayer dollars at a problem without any oversight, it turns into a bureaucratic black hole sucking in cash faster than Hunter Biden at a coke party.
The geniuses in charge are projecting the NDIS will cost $117 billion in ten years. That’s more than the entire defense budget, folks! We could be building a frickin’ space force with that kind of cash, but instead, it’s going to…social activities for the differently-abled? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against helping those in need, but let’s be real: this thing is a scam.
The Office of Impact Analysis (OIA), which sounds like a department out of a dystopian novel, has a report saying people with Down’s syndrome, visual impairment, and “psychosocial disabilities” are gonna cry the most when the funding dries up. Boo hoo. Maybe they should get jobs. Just kidding! But seriously, is 34% of a visually impaired person's budget really going to “social participation”? Sounds like a taxpayer-funded vacation to me.
Health Minister Mark Butler (who?) is patting himself on the back for cutting $36.2 billion from the NDIS. He thinks that's a win. It's like putting a band-aid on a gunshot wound. The whole thing needs to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch. Fewer consultants, fewer pointless programs, and more accountability. Oh, and fire everyone involved in the initial design. Total clowns.
These cuts are supposed to “reduce isolation” and “build independence.” Right. Because nothing says independence like being dependent on the government for your social life. It's like they're intentionally creating a dependent underclass. Where's Milton Friedman when you need him?
And get this: they admit that the reason they're cutting the social activities is because it “doesn’t impact the health and safety of participants.” Translation: they're too cowardly to cut anything that might actually help people, so they’re going after the fluff. Classic government move.
Look, I’m not saying we should abandon people with disabilities. What I am saying is that the NDIS is a monument to government incompetence and waste. It’s a slush fund for bureaucrats and woke social justice warriors. It’s time to drain the swamp, starting with this bloated monstrosity.
