Manipur Still on Fire After 3 Years: Guess They Didn't Get the Memo About Unity, Diversity, and Inclusion™
Woke platitudes aren't putting out real fires in Manipur, so what's the real solution?

Manipur, India – Three years, folks. Three whole years of ethnic clashes, and the powers that be are still scratching their heads. Maybe they should try sending thoughts and prayers? Or better yet, another diversity and inclusion seminar. That'll fix everything, right?
Seriously though, Manipur is a mess. We're told diversity is our strength, but apparently, some groups are just a little too diverse for their own good. The Meitei vs. Kuki beef has been brewing for ages, and it's turned into a full-blown dumpster fire. And where's the government? Probably too busy virtue signaling on Twitter to actually do something.
They'll tell you it's about historical grievances and land disputes. Translation: people want what they want, and they're willing to fight for it. Maybe it's time to stop pretending that everyone can just hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Sometimes, you need a strong hand to keep things in check. But that would be 'authoritarian,' wouldn't it? Can't upset the delicate sensibilities of the woke brigade.
The elites will drone on about 'systemic issues' and 'historical injustices.' But let's be real, a lot of this boils down to good old-fashioned tribalism. People stick with their own, and when resources are scarce, things get ugly. It's human nature, baby. Try to ignore it all you want, but real life is often a lot more complex than some social justice PowerPoint presentation.
Meanwhile, the common folk are the ones suffering. Displaced from their homes, struggling to survive. But hey, at least the politicians are getting their photo ops, right? Gotta show the world how much they care, even if they don't actually do anything to solve the problem. Circle back next week.
And let's not forget the open border with Myanmar. Conveniently ignored by the media, because who needs facts when you can push a narrative? That porous border is a highway for arms and other unsavory things. But hey, borders are racist, right? So let's just leave it wide open. What could possibly go wrong?
Maybe instead of obsessing over pronouns and microaggressions, we should focus on real problems like this. But that would require actual courage and a willingness to challenge the status quo. And we all know how rare those qualities are in today's political climate. Clown world, folks. We're living in a clown world.
So what's the solution? Honestly, I don't know. But I do know that more virtue signaling and woke platitudes aren't going to cut it. Maybe it's time for some good old-fashioned common sense. But that's probably too much to ask for. Buckle up, buttercups.
