Looksmaxxing: Cope or Hope? Mental Health Shill Says It's a 'Problem'
Another 'expert' cries about trad masculinity, conveniently ignoring that women have been doing this for millennia.

So, the latest narrative being pushed is that "looksmaxxing" – you know, the audacity of men trying to improve their appearance – is a mental health crisis. Apparently, according to some 'expert', these guys are just projecting their insecurities and need therapy, not gains. Shocking.
This is just another attempt to feminize men, plain and simple. Women have been slapping on makeup, getting plastic surgery, and dieting since the dawn of time, but when men start taking care of themselves, suddenly it's a sign of deep-seated psychological issues? Spare me.
The article claims that focusing on "extreme behaviors" prevents these guys from getting the 'help' they need. What constitutes 'extreme'? Is lifting weights and eating healthy considered a cry for help now? Maybe the real problem is that these guys are actually doing something about their problems instead of whining about them on social media.
And of course, the underlying theme is that it's all society's fault. Toxic masculinity, unrealistic beauty standards, blah blah blah. It's never the individual's responsibility, is it? Newsflash: life isn't fair, and nobody owes you anything. If you want something, you have to work for it. Even your looks.
It’s always “toxic” masculinity until you need someone to change a tire at night. Then, suddenly, traditional roles are just fine.
Frankly, the whole thing reeks of societal meddling. It's the same playbook they always use: find a trend, label it as problematic, and then push for some kind of 'solution' that involves more government intervention and social engineering. These so-called experts are just trying to find job security.
The real problem isn't looksmaxxing; it's the lack of personal responsibility and the constant victim mentality that's being perpetuated by the mainstream media and academia. Get a grip, lift some weights, and stop whining. The world doesn't care about your feelings.
And for the love of God, stop listening to these 'experts'. They're just trying to justify their existence and push their own agenda. Take control of your own life and stop looking for excuses.
Look, I'm not saying there aren't guys who take it too far. But the vast majority are just trying to better themselves, and there's nothing wrong with that. It’s a free country (for now). If someone wants to spend their time sculpting their cheekbones with bone saws, that’s their business.
So, the next time you see a guy hitting the gym or experimenting with skincare, don't assume he's got some deep-seated mental health issues. Maybe he just wants to look good. And what's so wrong with that?
