LOL! Victoria Approves Gasfield, Triggering Lefties and Saving Civilization (Maybe)
The Great Ocean Road will survive, snowflakes melt, and Victoria gets some sweet, sweet gas. Cope.

Alright, folks, gather 'round, because the Victorian government just dropped a truth bomb that's got the soyboys and climate Karen's clutching their pearls. They approved a new gasfield in the Otway Basin! That's right, fossil fuels, baby!
Apparently, this Amplitude Energy project is gonna be about 9km off the coast, near the Twelve Apostles – don't worry, they'll still be there, Instagram influencers. The guv'mint is saying it'll supply a third of the state's gas. You know, for those industries that CAN'T run on unicorn farts and virtue signaling. Lily D'Ambrosio is out here doing the Lord's work, bless her heart.
The usual suspects are losing their minds, of course. Greenpeace and Environment Victoria are whining about “pristine oceans” and “climate doom”. Newsflash: the ocean ain't pristine, and the climate has been changing since the dinosaurs roamed the earth. Joy Toose even said emissions have “used up the carbon budget.” Carbon budget? Is that like a credit card for the atmosphere? LOL.
Meanwhile, Alison Reeve at the Grattan Institute (who?) admits that Victoria's industries need gas, but still pushes the green narrative. Classic. You can't have your cake and eat it too, Greta. Actually, scratch that. You CAN have your cake and eat it too, as long as that cake is powered by natural gas!
Remember when Dan Andrews promised to revive the State Electricity Commission and go full renewable? Good times. Now Labor's approving gas projects faster than you can say “virtue signal”. Even AEMO is saying the gas shortage isn't as bad as they thought. Maybe, just maybe, reality is starting to intrude on the woke fantasy.
So, what does this all mean? Simple: Victoria needs energy, and gas is the best option right now. The left can cry about it all they want, but the fact remains that civilization runs on fossil fuels. Until they invent a truly viable alternative, we'll keep drilling, fracking, and triggering the libs. And you can take that to the bank, owned by (((them))).
