Lamar! My King! (NOT!) Alexander Joins Never-Trump Choir With Wimpy Memoir
Ex-Senator cries about Jan 6th in book nobody asked for; establishment RINOs gonna RINO.
Okay, boomer. Lamar Alexander, swamp creature emeritus, is crawling out of the woodwork to tell us what a Very Bad Man Trump is. Apparently, his upcoming book claims Trump did an impeachable offense on January 6th. Newsflash: nobody cares, Lamar. You're like that uncle at Thanksgiving who still thinks Crooked Hillary is a viable topic of conversation. Get with the program.
Let's be real: this is just another attempt by the Never-Trump wing of the Republican party to stay relevant. They clutch their pearls over muh democracy while simultaneously cheerleading for endless wars and censorship of dissenting opinions. The hypocrisy is thicker than the gravy at your grandma's house.
January 6th? Yeah, it was a bunch of people walking around the Capitol building, some of whom got a little rowdy. Was it a national tragedy on par with 9/11, as the MSM wants you to believe? Give me a break. It was more like a really embarrassing family reunion.
Alexander's whining about Congress needing to assert its power is also hilarious. When has Congress ever done anything useful? They're too busy lining their pockets and bickering over virtue signaling legislation. The only thing they're good at is wasting taxpayer money.
This whole thing reeks of desperation. The establishment is terrified of Trump's continued influence, so they're trotting out every washed-up politician they can find to trash him. It's not gonna work. People are waking up to the fact that the elites don't care about them.
Meanwhile, the real issues are being ignored. Inflation is destroying the middle class, the border is wide open, and China is eating our lunch. But sure, let's focus on what happened on January 6th, because that's totally the most important thing right now.
So, thanks for your input, Lamar. We'll file it right next to the rest of the garbage that comes out of Washington. In the meantime, maybe you should focus on perfecting your golf swing or something. The country will be better off without your "wisdom."
Remember when he was Secretary of Education? Yeah, neither do I. Probably because he didn't accomplish anything of substance. Just another cog in the machine.
