Judge Orders ICE to Play Nice in Woketopia: Manhattan Courthouses Now Sanctuary Zones
Another day, another activist judge neutering immigration enforcement because feelings > facts.

So, get this. Some soy-soaked judge in Manhattan, P. Kevin Castel, decided ICE agents are being way too mean, clamping down on illegal immigrants near the courthouse. Apparently, arresting people who are actively trying to game the system is just, like, totally unfair.
This genius, hand-picked by the ACLU (probably), decided to block ICE from doing their job at three whole courthouses because…reasons. The official reason? They don’t want illegal aliens getting “scared” away from their deportation hearings. You know, the hearings they're already trying to avoid by being here illegally in the first place? Makes perfect sense. Clown world.
The usual suspects—the New York Civil Liberties Union, the American Civil Liberties Union, and a bunch of other commie groups—sued ICE for being too effective. And the judge, bless his little virtue-signaling heart, sided with them. Apparently, the right to a fair trial trumps (no pun intended) the right of a sovereign nation to enforce its own freaking laws. Who knew?
The ruling applies to 26 Federal Plaza, 201 Varick Street, and 290 Broadway. Basically, ICE can’t touch anyone there unless they’re, like, actively committing a felony. So, drug dealing? Maybe. Skipping out on a deportation hearing? Nah, that’s just good clean fun. It's called strategic non-compliance, sweaty.
Castel wrote some BS about “a strong governmental interest in enforcing immigration laws,” but then immediately contradicted himself by saying people should be able to attend their hearings “without fear of arrest.” Translation: let’s make it even easier for illegals to stay here. Thanks, Your Honor!
These lower Manhattan buildings, especially 26 Federal Plaza, are basically Ground Zero for anti-ICE protests. Every time ICE even looks at an illegal immigrant, these triggered snowflakes lose their minds. And now, thanks to this judge, they’ve basically got a free pass to obstruct justice even more.
Remember that time the Trump administration tried to actually enforce immigration laws? Yeah, well, this judge thinks that policy was “arbitrary and capricious.” Translation: too effective. Better to let everyone in and deal with the consequences later.
Oh, and apparently, the government “misled” the court about some policy. Classic. Blame Trump for everything, even when it's your own fault. The dude's been out of office for years, but he's still the scapegoat for every screw-up.
