JD Vance Speaks at Cop Funeral: Wake Me Up When the Wokeness Ends
Vance to attend National Peace Officers' Memorial because somebody has to say 'thank you' to the thin blue line.

Alright, folks, so JD Vance is doing that thing politicians do: showing up to the National Peace Officers' Memorial Service. You know, the one where we remember cops who caught a dirt nap while trying to keep society from devolving into a Mad Max reenactment. It's Friday, so file this under 'Things That Should Be Obvious But Apparently Aren't'.
Look, the libs are gonna clutch their pearls and whine about 'police brutality' and 'systemic racism'. As if these same cops aren't the only thing standing between them and a horde of Antifa LARPers. We all know the deal. Cops aren’t perfect, but they’re what stands between civilization and chaos. Call it the thin blue line, or call it common sense.
Vance's presence is basically a giant middle finger to the perpetually offended Twitterati who think defunding the police is a good idea. (Spoiler alert: it's not. Just ask anyone living in Portland or Chicago.) This isn't some virtue-signaling exercise; it's a show of support for the people who actually keep us safe. Remember when the Squad wanted to abolish ICE? Good times.
Frankly, it's refreshing to see someone in power actually acknowledge the sacrifices these officers make. They face danger every day, often for peanuts, while getting demonized by the very people they're trying to protect. Talk about a thankless job. At least Vance is showing up with some semblance of gratitude. But will he bring the based takes? That's what we're here to find out.
We can expect the usual platitudes about bravery and service. But here's hoping Vance throws in a few red pills about the real cost of law and order in a society that seems determined to undermine it at every turn. Maybe he'll drop a line about wokeness being the real virus, or point out that no one's rioting in front of ICE facilities these days. One can dream.
It's all performative, of course. But in this clown world, even performative support for law enforcement is a win. The alternative is letting the radical left dictate the narrative, and nobody wants that. So, hats off to Vance for at least showing up. Let's hope he uses the opportunity to remind people that cops are not the enemy.
In the meantime, let's pour one out for the fallen officers and hope that one day, common sense will prevail. And maybe, just maybe, the libs will stop using their tears to water the propaganda machine. But hey, don't hold your breath. The culture war wages on, and the thin blue line is holding the line. So salute them, and maybe grab a beer. Or three. You've earned it.
I'll be tuning in with a hefty dose of skepticism and a six-pack, waiting for that based moment. If it happens, I'll let you know. If not, well, at least we can laugh at the libs' inevitable meltdown. Either way, it's gonna be a Friday. Let’s just hope there is some actual substance behind the optics.
