Jack Smith Goes Full Karen, Whines About Trump 'Corrupting' DOJ
Former Special Counsel accuses the Justice Department of, get this, doing what Trump wanted. Shocked, I tell you. Shocked!

Okay, so former Special Counsel Jack Smith, bless his heart, is out here sounding like he just discovered water is wet. He's claiming the Justice Department was "corrupted" by Trump and his allies. Apparently, DOJ leaders were trying to "impress" Trump by prosecuting people he didn't like. Groundbreaking stuff, really. I mean, who wouldn't want to impress the guy who was, you know, the PRESIDENT?
Look, everyone knew the swamp was deep. Did you think the DOJ was some bastion of angelic purity before Trump showed up? Please. This is Washington, D.C., where influence peddling is a competitive sport. Acting like Trump single-handedly turned the DOJ into a political weapon is peak cope. It's like blaming the guy who bought the pizza for the party having carbs.
And let's be real, the Left has been screaming about Trump's "authoritarianism" since day one. Now they're suddenly clutching their pearls because… the president exerted influence over the Justice Department? Isn't that, like, part of the job? To set the agenda? To enforce the laws the executive branch believes in?
Of course, we're supposed to believe that this time it's different. This time it's real corruption. This time it's going to finally take down Orange Man. Sure, Jan. We've heard it all before. Remember the Russia hoax? Remember Stormy Daniels? Remember all the other breathless scandals that were supposed to end Trump's career?
Here's the tea: politicians gonna politic. The DOJ gonna DOJ. And the media gonna hyperventilate about everything. The real corruption isn't that Trump tried to influence the DOJ. The real corruption is the two-tiered justice system where elites get away with everything while ordinary Americans get the book thrown at them.
So, yeah, Jack Smith's whining is just more noise in the echo chamber. The swamp is still swampy. The system is still rigged. And the only thing that's changed is the name on the White House stationery. Wake me up when they actually start prosecuting the Clintons, the Bidens, or anyone else from the protected class.
Until then, I'll just be over here enjoying the show. Pass the popcorn.
It is all just theater, folks. Political theater. Don't let it distract you from the real issues facing the country. And for the love of God, stop acting like Trump invented corruption. He just made it more… shall we say… obvious.
Don't expect me to believe that the DOJ was some sort of saintly institution before Trump. It's a powerful government agency, and powerful government agencies are always going to be subject to political pressure. The question is not whether the pressure exists, but how it's managed. And let's be honest, nobody manages anything perfectly in Washington.
So, thank you Jack Smith for clarifying that the Justice Department is not a completely impartial branch of the government. It's a part of the overall political system, and all of us already knew that.
