Hamas Boss Bites the Dust: Funeral Held for Dude Who Really, Really Hated Israel
Turns out, playing footsie with terrorism isn't a winning strategy; RIP Mohammed Odeh, may you meet your 72 virgins… or not.

So, word on the street (aka news reports) is that Mohammed Odeh, allegedly a big cheese in Hamas's military wing – you know, the guys who lob rockets at Israel like it's some kind of twisted game of dodgeball – has checked out. Apparently, he met his maker courtesy of a little something something from the Israeli Defense Forces. Funeral held, tears shed (probably), and the world keeps spinning.
Now, before the pearl-clutching brigade starts wailing about human rights and disproportionate force, let's remember who we're talking about here. Hamas. Not exactly known for their commitment to peace, love, and understanding. More like known for their commitment to, well, destroying Israel. They’re on the designated naughty list for a reason.
The Israeli strategy of “lawnmowing” – periodically trimming the weeds of terrorism – might seem harsh, but it's arguably necessary when your neighbors are constantly trying to off you. Targeted elimination? More like targeted inconvenience for terrorists. It's a game of whack-a-mole, and sometimes, the mole gets whacked.
The funeral, naturally, was probably a who’s who of Hamas sympathizers, complete with fiery speeches and promises of revenge. Yawn. It’s the same script, different day. Maybe instead of mourning a terrorist, they should mourn the wasted opportunities for peace. But hey, that's just me.
Will Odeh's demise cripple Hamas? Doubtful. They're like cockroaches; you can stomp one, but there are a hundred more waiting in the wings. But it's still a win. One less dude plotting to blow up a pizza parlor. One less dude writing checks for rockets.
Of course, the Usual Suspects will demand an investigation, probably led by some UN panel with a well-documented bias against Israel. Because, you know, the real victims here are the terrorists. Get outta here.
Frankly, I'm less concerned about the legality of the strike and more concerned about the fact that Hamas continues to exist at all. It’s like the Democrat party of the Middle East. These guys need to be neutralized – permanently. No more hand-wringing, no more diplomatic niceties. Just get it done.
In the meantime, I'll raise a glass to the IDF. They're not perfect, but they're doing what needs to be done to protect their country. And sometimes, that means taking out the bad guys, one terrorist at a time. So long, Odeh. Don't let the door hit you on the way out… or should I say, on the way down? waggles eyebrows
Pro-tip for aspiring terrorists: Maybe try knitting or birdwatching. It's less likely to get you blown to smithereens. And it's definitely less harmful to innocent people. Just sayin'. Get rekt terrorist.
Maybe this will send a message. Stop the violence and lay down your arms.
Now, back to watching cat videos and complaining about gas prices. The world ain't gonna fix itself (though, maybe it should start with a good scrub of the Middle East).
