Hakeem 'The Hack' Jeffries Tries to Rig NY Maps After SCOTUS Smackdown
Dem crybullies whine about Florida while pulling their own gerrymander shenanigans in the Empire State – surprise!

So, Hakeem 'The Hack' Jeffries, fresh off getting dunked on by the Supreme Court, decides it's time for some good ol' fashioned New York-style gerrymandering. The dude's whining about Republicans redrawing maps in Florida, meanwhile, he's launching the 'New York Democracy Project' – which is code for 'let's redraw these maps so Dems can stay in power forever, ya hear?'
Apparently, holding 19 out of 26 congressional seats isn't enough for these power-hungry clowns. They gotta make sure they cement their grip on the Empire State, even if it means twisting district lines into pretzels. It's all about 'protecting democracy,' right? Except when it means letting the other side win. Then it's, like, a threat to the very fabric of society or something. Seriously, these people need to look in a mirror.
Jeffries is even pointing to Colorado, Illinois, and Maryland as prime gerrymandering targets. "This is just the beginning," he cackles. "Across the nation, we will sue, we will redraw, and we will win." Settle down there, buddy. Sounds a little…authoritarian, doesn't it? Kinda like when Trump said he'd win the election even if he lost. Except with more lawyers.
And of course, Governor Kathy Hochul, the queen of virtue signaling, is totally on board. "New York has always led the fight for voting rights, and we’ll lead again," she bleats, conveniently forgetting that voters actually supported a ban on partisan gerrymandering back in 2014. But hey, what do voters know, right? They're just deplorables who haven't been properly indoctrinated. She's even said she'll work with the state legislature to redistrict before 2028. Get ready for some twisty turny district lines folks.
The New York GOP is, predictably, calling foul. Chairman Ed Cox is accusing the Dems of insulting voters' intelligence. "Democrats tried to torpedo that reform but the people rejected their efforts in 2021. I am confident that they will do so yet again," says Cox. You gotta admire the optimism, but let's be real: New York is basically a one-party state at this point.
Speaking of the Supreme Court decision, remember when everyone thought the Dems were the party of racial justice? Turns out, they only care about race when it benefits them. Now that SCOTUS is putting the brakes on racial gerrymandering, they're scrambling to find new ways to rig the system. It's almost like they never really cared about fairness or equality.
These are the same people who screech about 'election integrity' and 'threats to democracy.' But when it comes to actually playing fair, they're nowhere to be found. It's all about power, baby. Always has been, always will be. So don't be surprised when New York's congressional map ends up looking like a Jackson Pollock painting drawn by a drunk octopus.
Oh, and just to add insult to injury, Jeffries wants to pass a constitutional amendment in 2027 to make this gerrymandering permanent. That's right, folks. They don't just want to win, they want to change the rules so they can't lose. How's that for democracy?
So here we are, folks, facing another round of partisan warfare over redistricting. The Dems are crying about Florida, while simultaneously pulling their own gerrymandering shenanigans in New York. It's a circus, a clown show, and a blatant display of political hypocrisy. But hey, at least it's entertaining. In a horrifying, dystopian kind of way.
What this means is, Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same trashy coin. Power is the ultimate goal, democracy be damned. Wake up sheeple!
