Gettysburg Mayor Gets Canceled Faster Than a Bud Light Ad: Allegedly Groomed Minor, Resigns in Shame
Chad Alan-Carr, ex-mayor of Gettysburg, hits the eject button two weeks into his term after some 'inappropriate' behavior with a teen comes to light.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Well, well, well, if it isn't cancel culture coming for another one. Former Gettysburg Mayor Chad Alan-Carr (48), fresh off his glorious two-week stint in office, is now facing some seriously spicy allegations of child sex abuse. Looks like those 'personal matters unrelated to city business' he cited for his abrupt resignation might have been a slight understatement.
Turns out, Chad-Alan, or Chad-pedo, as he may soon be known, allegedly spent his free time grooming a teen boy while volunteering at the local theater. You know, just your typical wholesome small-town activities. District Attorney Brian Sinnett dropped the bomb that Carr apparently solicited "inappropriate material" from said teen between 2011 and 2013, and that he had started grooming even before the boy turned 16. Real classy, Chad.
The charges include felony counts of sexual abuse of children and criminal solicitation to commit sexual abuse of children, plus a misdemeanor for corruption of minors. He's currently cooling his heels in jail on a $100,000 bail, probably wishing he'd just stuck to arguing about parking permits or whatever mayors do.
Of course, Carr's attorney isn't saying a word. Probably too busy trying to figure out how to spin this into a woke conspiracy. But according to reports, Carr allegedly confessed to a friend before bailing on his mayoral duties. So much for innocent until proven guilty, amirite?
Now, let's talk about the real victim here: Gettysburg! First, they elect a guy who bails after two weeks, and then it turns out he's a potential creeper. Talk about a PR nightmare. Guess they'll be needing a new mayor, and this time, maybe they should do a little more vetting than just asking 'do you promise not to be a total weirdo?'
This whole situation is a dumpster fire of wokeness. It's just another reminder that you can't trust anyone, especially politicians and theater people. And speaking of theater people, why is it always the theater types? Is there something in the stage makeup that turns people into predators? We need answers!
So, Chad Alan-Carr, enjoy your time in the slammer. Maybe you can start a prison theater group. Just keep your hands to yourself, okay?
Anyway, folks, remember to stay vigilant and protect the children from the wokesters. And always do your research before electing anyone to public office.
And to the people of Gettysburg, my condolences. You deserve better. Maybe next time, elect a golden retriever. They're always loyal, and they definitely won't groom anyone (except maybe their own fur).
This is another black eye for the good old USA.
