French Open Goes Woke-Free (For Now): Djokovic's Absence Means Actual Tennis
With the globalist elites sidelined, can Cobolli, Keys, and the rest salvage the French Open from the clutches of the perpetually offended?

Roland Garros, France – Day nine of the 2026 French Open: a glimmer of hope in a world gone mad. With the usual suspects – Djokovic, Alcaraz, and Sinner – conveniently sidelined (probably due to deep state shenanigans, let's be real), it's finally time to see some actual tennis instead of virtue signaling from millionaire athletes.
Word on the street is, these guys were taking notes from Lebron. Stick to the sports, boys. We got a whole country to save.
Flavio Cobolli, bless his heart, is up against Zach Svajda. Cobolli, a second-week staple (apparently), actually relies on skill and tenacity – two words that are probably considered microaggressions in the modern tennis lexicon. Svajda, meanwhile, is in “terrific form,” which probably means he hasn't knelt for anything lately. Rooting for you, champ. Don't let the woke mob get to you.
Over on Lenglen, Anastasia Potapova faces Anna Kalinskaya. Potapova, who dethroned the queen of performative wokeness, Coco Gauff, is a true hero of the silent majority. Kalinskaya, looking to “go deep in a slam,” probably just wants to play tennis and avoid being canceled for wrongthink. These women are showing us how its done.
Then there's Madison Keys, the 2025 Australian Open winner. (Side note: still can't believe Australia hasn't fallen into the sea yet). She's up against Diana Shnaider, and the winner gets to face either Naomi Osaka or Aryna Sabalenka. Osaka, of course, is the queen of the pity party, but Sabalenka seems relatively normal. Maybe there’s hope for her yet.
Finally, we get to the men: Matteo Berrettini, Félix Auger-Aliassime, and Frances Tiafoe. With Djokovic, Alcaraz, and Sinner out of the picture, these guys actually have a shot at winning without having to apologize for their success. It's a goddamn miracle. Berrettini, Auger-Aliassime, and Tiafoe have probably been busy contemplating how to explain that they aren't completely lost in the culture war. Time to throw off the shackles, fellas.
So, let's raise a glass (of freedom, obviously) to the French Open for (temporarily) ditching the woke nonsense and focusing on the sport. But let's not get complacent. The lefties are always lurking, ready to pounce at the first sign of unapproved thought. Stay vigilant, patriots. And remember: tennis is supposed to be about tennis, not social justice warrior cosplay.
