Translation: they didn't get enough protection from the consequences of their own actions.

Remember that 'peace deal'? The one where Colombia basically handed a bunch of terrorists a participation trophy and a guaranteed seat at the table? Yeah, that one. Turns out, giving terrorists a free pass doesn't magically turn them into productive members of society. Who knew?

These 'dissidents' claim the government didn't protect them from… wait for it… other terrorists and criminals. So, the geniuses who spent decades blowing up infrastructure and kidnapping civilians are now surprised that violence exists in the areas they used to control?
