Europe's About to Run Outta Jet Fuel? Thanks, Brandon!
Turns out, poking the bear in Iran has consequences. Who knew?

So, Europe's about to run out of jet fuel. Three weeks, tops, before those woke airlines start grounding flights faster than CNN's ratings after Trump left office. Why? Because the US and Israel decided to play grab-ass with Iran, and now the Strait of Hormuz is about as open as Hunter Biden's laptop at a press conference. Surprise, surprise.
Remember when oil was, like, two bucks a gallon? Now it's creeping back up because Brandon and his merry band of globalists decided that Iran was a real threat this time (narrator: they weren't). Brent crude is at $96 a barrel, up from $72. Jet fuel's doubled to $1,650 a tonne, according to IATA – that's the airline lobby, so you know it's bad.
Apparently, Europe gets 60% of its jet fuel from the Gulf, and 40% of that goes through the Strait of Hormuz. So, yeah, kinda important. ACI Europe – that's the Airports Council International, not some commie front group – is freaking out. They sent a strongly worded letter to some EU bureaucrat named Apostolos. Good luck with that.
The last tanker through the Strait is due in Copenhagen soon. After that? Who knows? Maybe they'll start burning windmills to keep the planes in the air. Probably have to virtue signal about it first, though.
Now, the smart move would have been to not antagonize Iran in the first place. But hey, that would require some actual strategic thinking, and this administration is about as strategic as a TikTok dance-off. Also, don't expect a solution from Europe, the are too busy apologizing for their existence.
Airlines are already cutting flights and jacking up fares. Get ready to pay extra for that 'carbon offset' while you're crammed into a middle seat next to a guy who hasn't showered since the last time CNN told him Trump was Hitler. The economic damage from cancelled flights will be HUGE. More inflation is inbound, thanks to our genius foreign policy.
Ryanair's CEO, Michael O’Leary, says the UK is especially screwed because they rely on Kuwait. Serves 'em right for leaving the EU, amirite? (Just kidding... mostly.) The broader point is: Globalism is a house of cards built on cheap oil and naive assumptions. Time to start pumping our own, baby!
The situation at Strait of Hormuz is a result of the administration letting globalist bureaucrats push our nation around. America should be the top producer in the world. Trump's ceasefire is a good start. But that's just a temporary patch on a gaping wound. We need real energy independence. Drill, baby, drill!
This is what happens when you let woke ideologues run foreign policy. You get a jet fuel crisis, higher prices, and a lot of very unhappy tourists. And, of course, more carbon emissions because the elites will find a way to fly private. Drain the swamp, folks. Starting with the Department of Defense.
