These are the same people lecturing us about climate change while simultaneously making themselves more dependent on Russian gas. Now they're dismantling their own energy infrastructure to own...the environment? It's like they want to live in a pre-industrial hellscape.

According to the “Dam Removal Europe” coalition – probably funded by George Soros, let’s be honest – this is all about restoring rivers and letting wildlife “thrive.” Right, because a beaver is going to solve Europe's energy crisis. And those pesky windmills? They’re too busy bird-slaughtering to keep the lights on.

Sweden, Finland, and Spain are leading the charge in this eco-lunacy. Iceland took down one dam, because apparently even they're not immune to the woke mind virus. One dam! That'll show Putin! Meanwhile, North Macedonia, a country nobody can find on a map, joined the party too. Virtue signaling knows no borders, folks.

Remember that dam on the River Melsá? Turns out it wasn't even generating electricity anymore. But the sheep were enjoying it! Now the fish get to swim freely… into a polluted ocean. Congrats, environmentalists, you played yourselves.

Chris Baker from Wetlands International says we “fragmented our rivers” for economic growth. As if economic growth is a bad thing! Newsflash, Chris: people need jobs, not just happy salmon. Maybe he should try paying his bills with seaweed.

But wait, there's more! Ellen Donovan from Queen’s University Belfast (sounds legit) warns that removing dams could spread invasive species. So, the plan to help the environment might actually… hurt the environment? Who could have possibly predicted that?

This whole thing is a perfect example of the elite virtue signaling that's destroying the West. They want to feel good about themselves, even if it means sacrificing energy independence, economic prosperity, and common sense. Enjoy your rolling blackouts, Europe. You earned them. And maybe learn to fish. You'll need the skill.
