Darwin Initiative Goes Extinct: UK Dumps Woke Eco-Grift, Finally!
Another win for sanity as the UK axes funding for virtue-signaling eco-projects in the Global South, because taxpayer money ain't free.

Alright, folks, gather 'round the digital water cooler, because we got some good news for a change. Turns out the UK is finally waking up from its woke eco-nightmare and slashing funding for the Darwin Initiative. That's right, the gravy train for virtue-signaling biodiversity projects in the Third World is pulling into the station for the last time. Choo-choo, suckers!
For years, the Darwin Initiative has been shoveling taxpayer money into a black hole of questionable conservation efforts, all in the name of 'saving the planet' and making the champagne socialists feel good about themselves. Now, at least 89 countries are getting the boot, including freeloaders in Africa, Central Asia, and parts of Latin America. Argentina, Iran, Sudan, Chad, Mali, and Angola – tough luck, maybe try capitalism.
Some soy-latte-sipping do-gooder from ZSL, Andrew Terry, is whining about how this will 'undermine trust' in government promises. Trust? Please. These are the same governments that promised us Brexit would be a walk in the park and that lockdowns would flatten the curve. I trust my cat more than I trust politicians.
And then there's Catherine Weller from Fauna & Flora, moaning about how local communities are 'nature's greatest champions.' Oh, really? Last time I checked, they were busy chopping down rainforests for palm oil plantations and poaching endangered species for aphrodisiacs. But sure, let's throw more money at them.
The Darwin Initiative started back in 1992, when John Major, bless his heart, decided to play Captain Planet at the Rio Earth Summit. Now, decades later, we're finally realizing that throwing money at problems doesn't actually solve them. Who knew?
Of course, some countries are still getting a slice of the pie, like Brazil and Indonesia. Because, you know, woke logic. But hey, at least it's a start. Maybe, just maybe, this signals a broader shift away from the eco-grift and back towards, dare I say it, common sense.
So, crack open a cold one, patriots, and celebrate this small victory against the forces of environmental extremism. The Darwin Initiative may be going extinct, but hopefully, this is just the beginning of the Great Waking. MAGA, but make it green (in the sense of money saved, not soy).
Remember when Greta Thunberg lectured us all about climate change while sailing around the world in a yacht built by billionaires? Yeah, this is kind of like the opposite of that. Fewer yachts, more taxpayer money staying where it belongs – in the pockets of hardworking citizens.
