Cope of the Century: Rashida Tlaib Melts Down After Her Antifa Buddies Get 450 Years in Prison for Shooting a Texas Cop
The 'mostly peaceful' crowd just got hit with a domestic terrorism reality check, and the progressive establishment is absolutely crying about it.

In a hilarious twist of fate, the 'mostly peaceful' crowd just got hit with a collective 450-year reality check, and Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) is absolutely losing her mind over it. A federal court handed down massive sentences to eight members of a North Texas antifa cell who tried to play soldier at a federal immigration facility in Alvarado, Texas, back in July 2025. Instead of receiving the usual slap on the wrist, these far-left LARPers got hit with actual federal domestic terrorism charges under President Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 (NSPM-7).
The prize for the biggest loser of the day goes to Benjamin Song, a former Marine Corps reservist who decided to swap his country’s uniform for a black hoodie. Song was handed a maximum 100-year speedrun in federal prison after being convicted of attempted murder for shooting Alvarado Police Lieutenant Thomas Gross in the neck. Seven of his comrade co-defendants received sentences ranging from 30 to 70 years for charges like providing material support to terrorists, conspiracy to use weapons and explosives, and rioting.
Naturally, the moment these violent extremists were faced with actual consequences, the entire progressive establishment began to cry. Rashida Tlaib, a proud member of the congressional 'Squad,' immediately ran to social media to post some of the most unhinged cope seen this year. 'These sentences are a travesty and totally unjustified, but that's the point,' Tlaib whined to her followers. 'Americans hate the fascist Trump regime, so the only way they can try to cling to power is brute force.' For Tlaib, trying to blow up an ICE detention center and shooting a cop in the neck apparently qualifies as standard political speech.
Tlaib didn't stop there. She targeted NSPM-7, the executive memo Trump signed in 2025 after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated, which officially classified antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. This Texas trial was the first time the feds successfully used the memo to dismantle an entire cell of leftist militants. Tlaib, clearly sweating about the future of her favorite street-level activists, warned, 'NSPM-7 is a grave threat to all of us and more bulls--- ‘terrorism’ charges like these are coming.'
The internet and the White House immediately clapped back at Tlaib’s public defense of cop-shooters. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller didn’t hold back, firing off a post that called out Tlaib for 'defending antifa terrorists who tried to massacre state and federal law enforcement.' Conservative columnist Kurt Schlichter dropped a legendary one-liner that shut down the entire progressive narrative: 'Counterpoint: Her friends shot a cop.'
