Colombia's Mavecure Mountains: Another 'Sustainable' Eco-Tourism Scheme?
Flyover states got nothin' on this jungle dump – watch as 'untapped wonder' gets woke-ified and sold for carbon credits.

MAVECURE, Colombia – Oh look, another 'untapped wonder' for the globalists to exploit. The Mavecure Mountains, a bunch of rocks in the middle of nowhere, are now the hot new eco-tourism destination in Colombia. Because, you know, the peasants need more Airbnbs.
So, the story goes: these 'sacred' rocks (whatever) are getting a tourism boost because, apparently, 'peace' broke out. Right. After decades of commie guerillas and drug cartels, suddenly everyone's holding hands and singing kumbaya around a campfire? Yeah, pull the other one.
They're spinning this as a feel-good story about former gold miners turning into honey-selling hipsters. Fabio Pérez, the poster boy for this greenwashed grift, used to disappear into the jungle to mine gold. Now he's got a 'hostel and apiary project.' Bet he's raking in those sweet ESG points. Bet he's also raking it in from the tourists.
Of course, there are 'challenges.' No roads, no hotels, just 'rustic bunkhouses.' Translation: Bring your own toilet paper, and hope you don't get dysentery. But hey, at least you can Instagram the view, right?
And let's not forget the virtue signaling. The Puinave and Curipaco Indians, who apparently leave 'offerings to the spirits' on these rocks, are now part of the marketing campaign. 'Sacred site!' 'Authentic experience!' 'Support Indigenous communities!' Just try to find an actual Indian who's seen a dime from this whole charade.
This whole thing stinks of globalist agenda. 'Sustainable tourism' is just another way to control resources and redistribute wealth. They'll slap some carbon credits on those rocks, sell them to woke corporations, and pat themselves on the back for 'saving the planet.'
Meanwhile, the average Colombian is probably wondering where his next meal is coming from. But hey, at least the tourists are happy. They got to take some pictures, feel good about themselves, and pretend they're making a difference. What a joke.
So, next time you hear about some 'untapped wonder,' remember this: it's probably just another scheme to enrich the elites and virtue signal to the masses. Stay skeptical, folks. Question everything.
Wake up, sheeple! This ain't about saving the planet. It's about controlling you.
