China About to Rare Earth Own Our Woke Military, LOL
CCP mulling whether to give us another temporary pass on rare earths, while our geniuses in DC twiddle their thumbs and lecture us about pronouns.
So, the ChiComs are thinking about maybe, possibly, extending their 'temporary' hold on choking off our rare earth supply. You know, those elements that make everything from your iPhone to your woke military's hypersonic missiles work. Remember when Trump tried to do something about this? The Swamp creatures blocked him faster than you can say 'global warming is settled science.'
Rare earths: we need 'em. China's got 'em. We used to have 'em, but environmental regs and general American laziness sent all that juicy mining action overseas. Now we're begging the CCP for scraps. And they hold all the cards. They could cut us off tomorrow, and what are we gonna do? Send a strongly worded tweet?
Our esteemed leaders in DC are too busy virtue signaling about the latest woke cause to notice that our entire economy and national defense are teetering on the edge of Chinese economic warfare. They're obsessed with equity, diversity, and inclusion – while China's busy building the world's largest navy and perfecting its social credit system.
It's like watching a slow-motion train wreck. We're lecturing China about human rights while simultaneously relying on them for the materials that power our entire modern existence. The irony is thicker than AOC's Twitter feed.
Meanwhile, the geniuses in Silicon Valley are busy designing the next must-have gadget, completely oblivious to the fact that their supply chains are controlled by a communist dictatorship. They're too busy counting their billions to care about the national security implications.
So, what's the solution? Well, duh, start mining our own damn rare earths again. Unleash American ingenuity and entrepreneurship. Cut the red tape and let the free market work its magic. But that would require acknowledging that regulations have consequences, and that China isn't our friend. And that's apparently too much to ask from our political class.
Get ready for the sequel, folks. China holds all the cards, and we're about to find out what happens when they decide to play them. Buckle up. It's gonna be a bumpy ride. We need to drill, baby, drill… for rare earths! Maga!
Sources, because apparently you can't just drop truth bombs without 'em these days: Check out the USGS mineral resources data. Plenty of info on just how screwed we are. And Congressional Research Service reports – good luck wading through the bureaucratic jargon, but the facts are there.
