Brooklyn Commies Plot to Destroy Grand Army Plaza With 'Pedestrian-Friendly' Crap
Mamdani's woke redesign scheme: Another way to screw over drivers and force us all to eat organic kale.
Brooklyn, NY - So, I heard through the grapevine that some pencil-necked bureaucrat named Mamdani (sounds like a Pokemon, tbh) is trying to 'redesign' Grand Army Plaza. The official line is 'pedestrian access,' but we all know what that really means: fewer cars, more bike lanes, and another nail in the coffin of freedom. They probably want to rename it 'Che Guevara Plaza' while they're at it. The hipsters are already salivating over it while sipping their $12 lattes.
Apparently, this grand scheme was all the rage at the local farmers' market on Saturday. You know, the place where you can buy a single heirloom tomato for the price of a tank of gas? Perfect audience for this kind of garbage.
Grand Army Plaza is fine. It works. Sure, it might not be the most 'pedestrian-friendly' place on Earth, but guess what? That's what sidewalks are for. If you want to stroll, go to Prospect Park. If you want to get somewhere, drive. End of story.
But no, the woke mob can't leave anything alone. They have to 'improve' everything, which always means making it worse. More concrete, less parking, and a bunch of virtue signaling about 'sustainability.' Bet they'll put in one of those stupid bike corrals where nobody ever parks their bikes anyway.
The worst part? We're gonna pay for it. This 'redesign' is gonna cost a fortune, and who do you think is gonna foot the bill? Not the trust fund babies buying organic arugula. It's gonna be the working stiffs who just want to get to work without being hassled by bike cops.
I bet they'll take away lanes, too. Traffic is bad enough already, but they're just gonna make it worse to punish people for driving. The logic is impeccable: "If we make it unbearable to drive, people will take the subway!" Genius.
This isn't about making the plaza better; it's about pushing a leftist agenda. It's about forcing us all to live the way they want us to live. It's about destroying everything that makes America great and replacing it with soy-latte-sipping, virtue-signaling nonsense.
I say, let's keep Grand Army Plaza the way it is. A monument to freedom, not a playground for woke ideologues. Build the wall around the Plaza. Make Brooklyn great again!
