Bangkok Train Go Boom: Barrier Didn't Do Its Job, Probably Woke
Another day, another infrastructure fail—who you gonna blame, the train?
Bangkok, Thailand – So, a train in Bangkok decided to play bumper cars with some traffic, and at least eight people are now taking a permanent dirt nap. Turns out, the gate that's supposed to stop cars from becoming train chow didn't feel like doing its job. Shocking, I know. It's almost like someone forgot to pay the infrastructure bill, or maybe the barrier just identified as 'non-operational' that day.
Yeah, yeah, 'tragedy' and all that jazz. But let's be real, this is what happens when you let bureaucrats run things. They're too busy virtue signaling to maintain basic safety standards. Probably too busy trying to rename the train station after some gender-neutral pronoun to remember to, you know, actually maintain the infrastructure.
Now, the authorities are 'investigating.' Translation: they're gonna shuffle papers, hold some meetings where everyone nods sagely, and then blame it on climate change or some other equally ridiculous scapegoat. Meanwhile, the families of the victims are left to pick up the pieces.
Remember that bridge in Minneapolis? Remember how that turned out? Same story, different continent. Government incompetence knows no borders. It's the new world order, baby!
The State Railway of Thailand hasn't said squat yet. Probably drafting a press release about how they're committed to 'diversity and inclusion' in their train operations. Maybe they should focus on making sure the trains don't turn cars into scrap metal first. Just a thought.
And don't even get me started on the 'experts' who will be trotted out to explain how this was 'unforeseeable.' Unforeseeable? It's a train. It runs on tracks. The barrier is supposed to stop cars. How much more foreseeable can you get?
I bet you the 'root cause analysis' will come up with some BS about 'systemic issues' and 'lack of funding.' Translation: they pissed away the money on some woke pet project and now people are dead. But hey, at least they can pat themselves on the back for being so 'progressive,' right?
At the end of the day, this is just another example of why government can't be trusted to do anything right. They can't even keep a damn barrier working. Maybe it's time to start looking for solutions outside the system. Because clearly, the system is broken. The train has left the station… and taken a few cars with it.
Time to stock up on canned goods and learn how to live off the grid. The end is nigh. And it's gonna be hilarious… until it's your car getting turned into a pancake.
