Alleged Aussie Shooter Checks Out Early: Good Riddance?
Body found near Lake Cargelligo likely belongs to Julian Ingram, the dude accused of capping his ex and her posse – guess he won't be attending that trial after all.

Alright, chuds, gather 'round the digital water cooler. Word on the street (well, from the NSW Police) is they found a body out in the boonies near Lake Cargelligo. Guess who they think it is? Julian Ingram, the bloke accused of going full postal on his pregnant ex-partner, her friend, and her aunt back in January. Turns out, being on bail for domestic violence offenses doesn't exactly prevent you from allegedly, y'know, exercising your Second Amendment rights (Aussie version, anyway).
So, Ingram was on bail. Bail! Remember that? You know, that thing where you can allegedly commit crimes, and then allegedly commit more crimes while waiting for your day in court? Good system, innit?
Anyway, our boy Julian was last seen on January 22nd, and apparently, he managed to blend in with the scenery for a while. Turns out the local council gig gave him a leg up evading justice (for a bit). Turns out local expertise is useful, who knew?
Now, the fuzz is saying the body's been there "for some time". Found by wildlife officers. Eradicating feral pests. Poetic, isn't it? One less feral pest to worry about, maybe.
Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland is all like, "We believe that the identification at the scene, the clothing that the deceased is wearing, would lead us to believe that it is him." Translation: Yeah, it's probably him. Unless there's a twin brother we don't know about.
And here's the kicker: "brings closure to this investigation" and "gives some solace to the town so they can relax". Uh-huh. I'm sure the grieving families are just thrilled. Closure is great until you're the one who lost someone, then it feels kinda hollow.
Here's the thing, though: This whole story stinks worse than a kangaroo carcass in the outback. Was it suicide? Did he have a change of heart? Or, was there something more sinister at play? Did he off himself, or did someone off him? You decide.
And by the way, this Quinn woman was allegedly pregnant (seven months), due to pop out a baby boy. Just saying, this wasn't just about a relationship gone south, this was about ending a bloodline. Cold blooded if true.
Moral of the story? Don't allegedly commit heinous crimes. Or, if you do, maybe don't allegedly do it while on bail. It just looks bad. For everyone.
